• Model 7's compatibility with Fender Telecasters?

To what extent are the two compatible? Neck pocket, bridge screw emplacements, pickup sizes...If I'm going for the one I have in view at the moment, I will end up modding it (locking tuners, maybe a graphite nut, a new 6 saddles vintage Tele bridge, new pickups...) and Tele parts are modelled after the original Fender parts so I'm wondering if Charvel did that too. Thanks for helping

I'll have a look tonight. I've got a model 7 and a squier tele so i'll check it out later on when I'm not at work. Work, oh shit! Later.

I'm wondering why anyone would do this to a Model 7. The only weak point of the Model 7 is the pickups. And that is slight...

Well I want a guitar to tweak and a model 7 in the US would be cheaper than a Squier here so why not? Charvel AND Tele for me is the absolute best.

Well, it's your money and you're certanily entitled to do whatever you want with it.

This is just my opinion. Other than changing out the pickups, removing any other part from a model 7 is a down grade. If you win that white one I think you'll be surprised by how good they really are.

It's a bit too much now with the shipping so it won't happen and yes I suppose you guys are right. But keep in mind it'd be cheaper than any Squiers in Europe so downgrading or not, it's still cheaper in the long run... That's how weird it is for us Europeans

that's exactly what I was saying, without actually saying it.
