Man...that is just awesome. That finish plus the maple neck is sweet!

So how much is she charging? If she could turn out a few guitars a year that look even half as good as that finish I'm betting she could have herself a nice little side business...depending on the price I could see her doing my DXMG!! That really really looks great!!

Not to nitpick, but is that really a "swirl"? It's cool, very cool, extremely very cool, but one could get a lot of mileage as marketing it as a new color/graphic. I'd call it, "muti-colored iris". It kinda looks like an eye.

Very very cool. I've got a pair of guitars I'm getting ready to paint. I love these ideas. Can you tell us what brand of paint she used?

Notice the careful wording in the thread title. He called it "eerie dess" and not "eerie dess swirl"

I thought you were referring to the thread starter. I couldnt find emoticons that looked stupid enough to convey that I wasn't trying to be a smartarse.

These pictures have convinced me to try a marbellizer paint job on my Flying V. I think some "zombie goo green" marbellizer would look cool.

That is the best Erie Dess I have ever seen. I don't like the Jackson, I LOVE this!

Wow.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

No offense taken, Tekky. I did specifically mention the '(no swirl)' thing just behind the EDS, though. Let's not get riled up over this.

KICK ASS graphic!
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

yeah man I agree with everyone else, she did a killer, killer job on that. I am refinishing a Telecaster and just the painting and making sure you don't have blemishes and the clear coating is a lot of work.

I also have a red Model 2 that is pristine, but yours looks like a whole new guitar. awesome!
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Very, very nice. I've never liked that kind of finish until I saw that one. Kind of makes me want to try it. I agree, your sister could make a few dollars at this. It looks great with the black hardware and p/u!
