  • Model 2 with Maple board

    I recently scored a black Model 2 with Maple fretboard. I haven't seen too many of these with maple boards. I was wondering how rare these are?

      They are non existant. Maple fretboards were only on the Model 1's, Model 4M's.

            To be honest a maple boarded Model 2 is an ideal Model 2. I wish all Model 2's were that way. Consider yourself lucky as I am still looking for a Model 2 so I can add a maple neck to it (preferrably from a Model 7)
