Tele me more info

Hey guys. I've been wanting one of these and now opprotunity knocks. Doesn't the difference in color or style of the guitar headstock logo help to identify it too? What year is this? How many were made? What colors were available? What scale is the neck? Any other info, please tell!

Charvel Model 7, 25.5" scale. I believe they were made in 86-88 but I have been wrong before. In 89 they adopted the toothpaste logo and changed the name to the Legend if I'm not mistaken.

Did they all come with rev head? Any come with fins? I'm thinking it would like it with rosewood, fins, reg pointy head, and toofpaste. Doesn't it remind you guys of Mick Mars' Girls Girls Girls Kramer? Maybe I should make mine "Skanks Skanks Skanks" [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

very striking looking...I passed over a dimas era usa blk bound tele with reverse head [kahler trem] back in the day.... I hate kahlers...
but to this day I am the biggest sucker for usa c/j teles...

the imports are actually a bit cooler in that they arent so traditional in configuration...

buy it,,, you wont be unhappy...

Thanks guys for your input. I received it the other day and it's the only guitar I've ever bought that can be played as-is, no adjustments needed. I think I'm going to replace the neck, only because I don't like tuning the rev head while playing. It's awkward. I think rev heads are better on locking trem guitars.

BTW - what Charvel case did they sell with this originally? The tweed Fender style?
