• 375 project finally done

Well, since I'm on semester break from school, I thought now would be a great time to get some of my ongoing projects done. First I rewired my 650xl which I mentioned in another thread. Now, I'm done with my 375 project as well. I had posted some in progress pics a while back and I was just playing it as is. Now it actually looks finished.

I started out with the body I got from Pete (Twisteramps) and slapped on a neck from my 275 project still in progress. Can't remember who I got the bridge from, Mike (Model_88) I think . You'll notice all the nice parts I got from Dave, the pickup ring and both covers for the back.

I've got a Distortion in the bridge (go figure ) a Quarter Pound in the mid and a Hot Rails in the neck. I've got the 5 way wired up as is:

pos 1 neck full
pos 2 neck split
pos 3 mid
pos 4 bridge split
pos 5 bridge full

And you might notice I wired up a single volume at the rear control. I like it better there as the front knob gets in my way a bit. I might try to find something to cover the hole later one, but for now, I think it adds character.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible. You're the best. As always, sorry for the shitty pics. It's raining today and I've got no good light.

Oh yeah, and I blocked the Floyd from pulling up so it only drops pitch, a la the Peavey Wolfgang.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I love the silver sparkle. I've got my 650 in that finish, too. If you look at them really closely, they are actually two different shades. But you really have to look close.

By the way, Dave, if you find a silver sparkle 750, be prepared to fight to the death for it.

Awesome, Travis! I was just wondering if the 550XL came in this finish & what should pop up on eBay but this
You should go for the full on Blinding Wall of Silver Charvies!

You know, I've seen a few of the sparkle 550xls and I thought at one time I should get one of each in that finish. Especially when I heard that finish was available on the 750xl as well.
