The fine tuner design was pretty weak on those. Also, I've seen a few that the hole for the arm wears and there is a lot of slop. Until recently parts were impossible to find.

The Kahler Steeler was their best fulcrum trem.

I have one on an 86 and the fine tuners are ridiculously hard to use. They turn one way too easily and it's a struggle to turn them the other way. And since they lie so close to the guitar body, it's hard to get a good grip on them.
