• Charvel 475?

Is the Charvel 475 a USA built or an import axe?

I have been offered one, all I know is that it has shark fin inlays, H/s/s config and original floyd rose.

Anyone had one of these, any thoughts?

Import, but great build quality. Better than most mid level guitars on the market today.

They did not come with an OFR. They came with a Jackson stamped version of the Schaller Floyd. Those are pretty good trems though.

I have USA Jacksons, a Gibson and a USA BC Rich, and my $200 Charvel 475 is my main guitar as well. Still had the plastic on the control panel and truss cover when I bought it a couple yars ago, hehe..

            I want more!

I have a 475 that I bought new as my 1st guitar in '90 or so. It is beat to hell but is still a great player. The trem still works as new and I like it better then the OFR on my new Suhr.

These were really well built guitars.

                      Made in Japan, real MOP

The trem should be a JT-590 (Schaller type)

Great guitar, this was my first Charvel

You dwarf that guitar even at that age...

Wished I'd have bought that from ya when you offered...

                        Where did it go?

Jesus Ron, you are a fucking giant. I knew you were a big dude but that import looks like a friggin toy. How hard is it to find a truly comfortable guitar for you to play?

To a young JCFer in Northern California. I don't think he's active anymore though. Funny, my Kelly also went to NorCal
