It hasn't been refinished, I've had it stripped down to the huckleberries. It was pretty well taken care of over the years, and I'm really glad I picked it up. There are a few dings here and there, but nothing serious.

I have one just like it, except that mine is that yellowie beige/cream color and has a Kahler tram. It is my 2nd favorite guitar (next to my model 4 - more versatile tone wise). I am torn between the Kahler and the Floyd. I love them both....both have a different feel and both make you play differently. Have you ever used a Kahler? What do you think?

I've never used a Kahler, so I don't have an opinion at all. I like guitars with Floyds, but seldom ever use the tremolo bar. I guess I like the option of being able to whammy if I ever get the urge to.

I absolutely love the tone of the J-90C. I have it tuned to standard D, and it just fuggin' growls. I'm not much of a lead player...hell I can barely play rhythm and the tone is right up my ally for what I like to do.
