model 3 body clone?

does anyone know where i can get a strat body that will fit my model 3 neck.

i want and alder body to replace the basswood model 3 and fit my model 3 neck. any suggestions?

Fitting the Model 3 neck will be the hardest part as the heel is wider than most standard Strat body routes. If you want to enlarge the body route to fit the neck, or shave the neck to fit the standard route, then pretty much any alder strat body will work (Fender, Carvin, Warmoth, etc.) As far as I know, only the Charvel and Jackson bodies require no body routing. But I have been wrong before.

On the USA Custom guitars site, they mention for a extra charge that they can change the dimension. They list 2 3/16 as standard, but do 2 5/16 for folks who require a 1 3/4 size nut.
Your looking at $180 plus the upcharge for the mod and sh/in.
