Considering buying a Charvel

Hey guys i found quite a nice Charvel Strat for £199 in london today (dirt cheap) it was surprisingly nice, even the kahler didn't feel too bad.

Here's a pic of what it is, Do you know what model this is?

Well it certainly played well and the tone was quite cool. I think i'll go back next week and buy it when i get my next paycheck through.

Tekky already weighed in on the model, so I'll just tell you to buy it already! Great guitar. I have an '87. They feel great and just have a certain intangible quality. Very hard guitar to beat.

I've got one exactly the same, except its the Black Cherry colour (aka purple). Depending on your preference, you might want to look for one with the Floyd Rose style JT6 trem instead. There's a blue one on UK ebay at the moment.

Well i usually love floyd rose's, but i quite liked the Kahler, it was pretty easy to use and half the time it felt like it weren't even there.

Well i was gonna wait till this weekend to go back and get it. But i've decided that i don't need it. I have an amazing Ibanez RG and i have other guitars that i can use. The Charvel wouldn't get much playing time. So i've decided into looking into getting a new amp or digital recorder instead.
