There's no trem route in the back? How is the trem anchored? A floyd (JT6 in this case) is tension counter tension trem. How is it satying in place?. There has to be an access panel and a rout to get the springs and claw in there. Im confused. How about a picture of the back of the body?

Back rout - means the area behind the fine tuners isn't cut out - it's like a 'old school' soloist with a greater neck angle. I prefer these, personally. It's also a little less wood out of the body, and slightly better (IMHO) tone.

And the tone knob has become a 3-way switch, what's that about?

[/ QUOTE ]

It has EMGs with an active preamp - the 3-way is a 2 way, and it turns the preamp off/on.

I'm positively sure he meant that it doesn't have
a trem route to allow for pulling back on the trem.
Mine doesn't have one either, but in the picture
you can see that Joe's does. The 750XL also has the
JT590, not the JT6.

You are correct sir! I think this is a 'transition' model, because it doesn't have the back routing behind the fine tuners, but it has the smaller/shorter trem that would have been used with it.

I thought the same thing at first, he means the floyd
isn't recessed.

Those are such awesome guitars. I'd love to have one someday. New amp comes first though. Killer guitar.

Jcguitars has one I have been eyeing but it was converted to a floyd from a string thru and it has a big chip on the right side of the body.

Maybe when you get some time, you could post a clip or vid of you playing the 750, Pete. Then, when you get tired of it, you can let me know. I'll even let you keep the EMGs and the preamp. Those things are the devil, you know.

I have seen them in that color before on the bay...in fact, I was outbid on one that had the neck shaved and was in need of some TLC but, the fucker still went for like 500 bucks.
