  • Model 2 info needed

Got an opportunity to pick up a Model 2 for under $200.

Dont know ANY of the specs yet, but will try and get them for this thread.

    What are these like?
What configuration, necks, etc did they have?

    THANKS in advance!

The Kahler was only used in 1986, and replaced with the JT6 from 1987

I love Model 2's. My buddy has a red one just like that pic and it shreds.

Turns out it was NOT a Model 2, nor a JRS reissue!

Yep ! When I first read (...model 2 - $200.) I was going to say "run out and buy it now!" I have model 2 (cream-beige) with a kahler trem and it is my send favorite guitar that I have ever owned or played (first is my '86 model 3 - more versatile for tones). Keep your eyes open on ebay...lots of great buys...just move slowly....be patient and never bid more than you feel comfortable loosing !
