I'm a fan of the Rio Grande pickups, myself, especially knowing they are made by the folks at Robin guitars...I have a BBQ Bucker in a cheap Stagg SG copy that makes that guitar SMOKE!!!!

I did something similar to you. I put some Van Zandts pickups in my model 6. I wanted a guitar that sounded like a vintage strat yet played like a Charvel! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Hey, it is beautiful and looks just like mine (except minus all the "nicks" and scratches)! And it plays great too ! !
