that purchase did not include a case, I didn't have the $$, had to take the guitar home in the box on the bus, and went back 2 mos later to get a case. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I bought a Red Model 2 in 1986 for $362 including a Charvel tweed case. I still have it today.

Looks like I got the low ball price. I paid $199.99 on sale in '86 for a Pearl white one with the Kahler fulcrum at Seattle Music which was on 1st, a few blocks down from Pike in the seedy district. (I can't remeber if it had a case or not).

I paid $400 for my 1988 Candy Apple Red Mod 2. Chainsaw case included. I got her at Atlanta Discount Music on Clairmont Rd in Atlanta.

I paid $300 in Dec of '87 for an Electric Blue Model 2 with a JT6. Case was another $60.
