I am taking interest in the Charvel Model 4 firecrackle. H-S-S-Floyd(lic floyd) A good friend had one and probably loved it like most people feel towards their husbands/wives! He was really in to this guitar.
Sadly, back in the early 90s there was a house fire and everything He had, He lost. My friend replaced the Charvel with a cool looking red eyeball soloist(it's in the gallery) that supposedly has a linking to Steve Vai in some way or another.
The guitar is cool, but I will say the burned Charvel kicked it's a$$ in playability. It was better to me as well as my friend.
I was thinking about pulling the trigger on one and maybe offering it to him for a decent price. He's sent me e mails with links to many..but never went forward. I'm sure once He saw the guitar, He'd freak!
Anyone have one of these axes? Thanks!
