Early 80's Jackson I got??

I got this guitar from my uncle about a month ago. He hasn't played it for a long time so i told him I would buy it. Anyway he said he got it from a pawn shop around 86-88 or so. It is in great condition I got it and the case with a crate amp for $200. I didn't know much about it. I was hoping some one here could give me some info. on it I got a pic too. serial on back is 252831

That looks like a vintage trem so the guitar is a Charvel Model 1, and that's a pretty cool guitar for 200 bucks!

If it says Jackson or Charvel on it it´s in the wrong place in this section...

Kind of obvious IMO that on the Jackson /Charvel Forum Jacksons and Charvels don´t count as "other manufacturers".... [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Hmm, I tried to clear up that pic and the trem started looking like something other than a vintage. Is there such a thing as a model 2m?

Looks like a Kahler fulcrum to me. That would make it an 86 model 2. Either a 2M or a 2 with a model 1 neck? Either way, very cool axe.

No there isn't technically a Model 2M. (the only one in existence is mine [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) I can tell by the picture that this is a v-trem. The guitar is a model 1
