Yeah, those are pretty guitars! I need to ask my friend who owns a decent '86 Model 6 if he'd consider trading it for one of my other axes. Right now it is primarily being used by his 11 year old daughter. I don't think she appreciates what a fine axe it is. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Thanks for the compliments, I've had this for about 6 months, scored it off Ebay, had to get one after hearing all the praise about them. Its awesome, but now that I've got one (actually 2), I've got the itch to get a USA Soloist... it never stops!!!

that's funny, I used to have a red one like this ,except it had EMGs in it..........and I used it as part of a trade for my SL2H [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I got a 86 model and it's very good but it's definitly not a SD soloist (I have 2 ). So go out and get one if you have the itch.

I am glad to finally see a RED ONE! I love red guitars and you don't see too many model 6's in red.
