Closest Warmoth Neck to Charvel Model Series

As I posted elsewhere, my Model 7 is in need of a new neck. I'm planning on getting a Warmoth, but would like to get the closest approximation of the original neck possible. I'm planning on getting the Warmoth "Pro" Jackson with a reverse headstock. The fingerboard and neck will both be maple with a 1-11/16" width at the nut and with standard face and side dots. The neck back shape with be their standard thin. Fret wire will be 6105. I'm either going to order their clear satin finish (which I prefer to the Charvel's gloss) or just tung oil it myself. The only other deviation from the original that I might go with is birdseye maple instead of standard maple.

Thoughts?

it's the closest that you'll get. you may have a gap in the neck pocket, though; i believe the model necks are 2 1/4" wide as opposed to 2 3/16" that the warmoths are. i'm sure others will chime in.

dude, Warmoth's birdseye maple is excellent.

Wow! That's very impressive, especially for being the non-AAA version. Did you get compound radius? If so, how do you like it? I assume that's the clear gloss finish?

yeah it's standard compound radius, which I like very much, it's the standard thin neck, plays great, effortless.

6150 frets, clear gloss (I don't crave the unfinished feel, and I want the thing to last a long time and not twist). plus it looks great.

Charvel Neck Heels are actually 2.22" just shy of 2.25
If you get a 2.25 you are going to have to sand it to fit.
USA Custom Guitars will make a 2.22 for you.

FYI: If you do not do a hard finish on a warmoth neck it voids the warrantee

the 6100 frets will be closer to the charvel frets than the 6105's.

How about a Musikraft neck? They offer 2.25" heels.
