Found a Model 2

I picked this up Saturday at a local used gear shop. Pearl White, yellowed beautifully, JT6 needs some cleaning, a lot of dings and dents, she sure has been played. Missing the trem bar (already emailed Dave on that one), and the rear trem cover plate is not original. Previous owner dropped in an EMG 85.

Where do all those JT6 trem arms go to? There has to be a mountain of them sonewhere...

My Model 3 was already missing its arm when I bought it in early '92. In 2001 I found my Model 5A NOS in Bangkok. Lo & behold the arm was missing once again. I'm so used to seeing mine with Ibanez Shure Grip arms on now that the orignal arms look "wrong" to me.

Nice! I love those older non-recessed floyds!
My Predator is the same color, and came w/ no trem arm, and no trem mount on the floyd plate, just a gaping hole...

now ditch that crummy JT6 for a OFR and you're rocking. those JT6 trems always look so poorly made.

Looks like I'll have to make the switch to an OFR. There is not very much left to the top blade edge. I thought about replacing all the black hardware with gold hardware. Any thoughts??? [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
