Model 6 ... Year of manufacture?

Hello all,

Bought a Model 6 yesterday ($425.00) that was advertised as a 1985.

I thought these were only made '86 through '89 ?

Serial number is C7033XX

Here's some pics ...

(Obviously the pickups have been changed and it came in the rectangular tweed, Charvel case)

It's from 1987, the first figure of the serial number indicates it.

Mike, I got two of them, one an '86, one an'87. Love'em both. Nice score with the white one. Looks nice.

Ha! They're Gold Lace Sensors (bright, 50's tone)

They sound great in this Model 6! "String-ey" and clear as a bell.
