I tried to explain it in my posts above. That guitar came with Jackson pickups and a Jackson preamp. The preamp (pcb board) will not work with the EMGs, which is why you can only use your bridge pickup: Someone put in an EMG and disabled the rest of the electronics. So, if you're switching to all EMGs, you will have to remove both the preamp and the pots.

That sounds right to me. You don't need
a preamp tone pot with EMG's it's built
in. The EMG will disable the other pickups
but you can add another stock Jackson
humbucker J50BC pickiup & rewire stock
setup or change out to all EMG's like
my setup - SA/SA/81 EMG, I do have my
orig. Jackson J50BC humbucker I'll

OK will wait a lil bit if 'Guitars_N_Hockey' wants it. I have this & one J-200 jackson single pickup (all from my 87 model 6), if he doesn't want it then I'll put it on classified (give you notice ****) for $15.00 + $7.00 for priority mail......
