Found this one at a local guitar shop... Plays and sounds great, and I love the neck, just as good as some of the Charvel Model series I've tried. I happy with it for $125. Just needs a truss rod cover and a trem arm.
I see you met in the middle with the pawn shop guy.You have to finesse them some times.I just snagged a 90 L.P.studio in alpine white(turned very yellow)with the protector case for $500.00 out the door, kept it over the weekend cleaned it up did a setup and Monday sold it for &650.00.Not bad huh?
I always wondered how those trems were licensed floyds. Other than the knife edge I don't see much of a resemblance Do they stay in tune? The guitar looks good, congrates

Yeah, I'm not sure how it would qualify as licensed floyd. Concept is kinda the same, but really shares no common parts or even concepts, other than pivoting and floating... Seems to work just as well as other, higher quality licensed floyd on my other strat.
I like this Charvette though. For the price, it's really a nice guitar to play. Sounds great, and plays and feels great. I'd put it up against any other budget guitar. Neck is fantastic.
I had an Epiphone Explorer with a trem like that. I'm not going to lie - it was about the cheapest excuse for "metal" that I've ever experienced with guitar hardware. However, it did stay in tune reasonably well.
