Model 3 Neck Spec's

I now have two model 3's (lefty). I know serial numbers on the two are close so I'm guess they were made probally 1988/1989... On the second one, the neck profile is completly different from the first--(WAY thinner--pretty close to that of my Stealth). My question is: were the neck profiles different on these models over the two/three years? Both necks are marked 3L so I'm guessing these necks are correct for the bodies. The second neck does appear to be stock. Why such as difference??? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
