Yeah, I was hoping that no one would notice rhe lack of strings...but you guys don't miss a thing! Funny how I sound WAAAYYY better on those stringless guitars...and my neighbors agree. Truth is that some of those are projects that are underway/on hold. The bass just got strings put on tonight, with a minor bridge repair that I've been putting off. The receipt from GC for the strings was dated August 2001, so that tells ya how fast things move around here! Looks like len digs red Charvies too...very cool!
I was able to acquire those signatures in person - much easier now than it was back in the day.

That's a great shot of an awesome collection! Thanks for posting it. By the way, if you want to loan out the white Model 6 or the reverse-head Model 88, I had be happy to foster them for a while... [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Seems like nice 5a's are hard to come by. My first choice would be a white one. I had a goal of having a full house (Models 1, 2, 3, 4, 5a, 5, 6, 7, 8) but I ran out of steam (and money too).

Love those 88's. Would look real nice next to my COW DK6. Real nice.
