ID help

This is a buddy of mines guitar. He bought it cheap at a pawn shop and because he knows I like Charvels. I have been after him a while to let my take pix of it to have you guys help ID this thing. A year later he finally brings it over.
I am guessing it is a mutt or a limited edition guitar because of the gold Charvel logo. The tuners are un-logoed and the trem is a reseted Jackson logoed but not stamped by Schaller. The pups I sold him, he said the original ones that came in it we not logoed. There are some strange routings in the rear cavity spring cavity. Any ideas on this one?

The neck looks like a straight-up fake. It has the USA-style Charvel logo, but the 12th fret dots are way too far apart to be a Charvel. I'm personally not able to tell what the body is.

Possibly a model 3 body, the neck is a fake, and the tem cavity is routed funny like that to use the recessed trem as a surface mount. The block is shorter so they had to shave the cavity so the springs would fit. It is funny that the neck has that dirty smudge where the "Made in Japan" sticker would usually leave a mark. Was there ever an import Jackson, made in korea, with a rev head, and regular dots, maple board? How is the neck pocket fit? Is it tight or are there gaps on either side?
