Model 2 Followup

Okay, it's been two weeks since I brought my Model 2 home from the pawn shop. Here's a followup report:

1. After polishing the frets and a slight truss rod adjustment, the neck gets an A.

2. The JT-6 bridge gets a C. The design is excellent (it feels better on the palm than a real Floyd), but the build quality is a bit poor. I like the way the strings lock in at the nut, also.

3. The pickup (J90, I think??) gets (surprise!) an A. Nice, even sound, good harmonics. Thanks to AimingHigh for the suggestion that I remove the pickup cover. It really made a difference.

Overall - B+.

Bought My model 2 also from a pawn shop....changed pick up ..seemed to have litle power... put in a dimarzio...lots of power and heavy 70's 80's sound..however mine has the kahler trem. Plays well and feels great. Overall great guitar.
