  • Help me ID this Charvel model

I have a Charvel by Jackson/Charvel guitar that I need help identifying..
It has a humbucker and two pickups with a volume, treble, and bass knob. The guitar has the fretboard with the end with the tuning keys pointed down.
The serial plate says it was made in Ft Worth TX and has a serial 230309. Can anyone help me identify the model of this guitar.
I bought if off a friend because it plays so smooth, but cant seem to find any info on it. I have a picture or two if this will help, leave email address and I will send pic.
    Thanks in advance

    We need more info.

    A pic would be nice.

Does it have a white guitar-shaped Charvel logo on the headstock?

Or does the logo look like handwriting.

Tell us about the bridge, the neck, inlay type, if it has binding, ect..

It's an import model for sure, as those plates just have the address of the company. NOT where it was made. It was made in Japan.

All Charvels with a white headstock logo were imports.

All Charvels after 1985 were made in Japan.

The three controls are probably volume, tone, midboost.

That looks like a Model 1. They were made in Japan between 1986-88.
