'86 Model 5 with Kahler (duh!) in black cherry...for all of $120. Unfortunately it only had a gig bag, but I can deal with that. What do you guys reckon?

Is that in U.S. dollars? Or NZ dollars. And if so, how does that equate to US?

US Dollars. I always do the conversion since you guys wouldn't have a clue about our banana-republic currency The only solution to GAS is DEATH...

Re: Did I do well?
Well I got it and it's already in pieces The strings were rusty, the rollers in the Kahler didn't budge and it's missing the trem bar and one fine tuner screw. Paint-wise it's in pretty average condition. A few marks basically. I've already sanded down the board and levelled the frets (a wee bit of wear). A couple of bad solders in the cavity. Neck is straight, plenty of fret left and the booster circuit is in tact (and now works). All in all, I think it's a great score. Probably my best to date. Can't wait to get her back together. PS: Anyone have a tip for freeing the remaining two Kahler rollers? I'm going to leave them to soak in WD-40 over night as it hasn't worked it's magic yet. The only solution to GAS is DEATH...
