The music scene in Vancouver.... hmmm... it is probably best described as non-descript. In the 80s / early 90s, there were lots of clubs with live music. Today.... not so many. There are a few downtown, and a handful in the burbs, but it's not a huge scene. You won't see a large amount of concert/performance reviews in the major local papers. I think the problem, if you can call it a problem, is that Vancouver is such an outdoor recreation city. Nobody really wants to do anything indoors.... (except watch the Canucks of course!)
And yes, my previous post was making fun of anybody who thought that schwing was the seller and the buyer in the auction, just because they were both from Canada. And yes, Vancouver and Windsor are quite far apart. Plus it snows in Windsor, and we in Vancouver fear snow, except on our ski hills.
