  • Ugh.. What Charvel do I have...

    Ok, So I have looked and I am coming up with nothing... so I just picked a Charvel and the serial is 302169. Anyone have a clue what it is or where I can find it??? THanks!!!

          Sweet! Thank you sir! Any chance I could find out when it was made? Couldn't seem to find a web site that listed what serial numbers were made when and so on. Thanks again for the help! I am way new to world of Charvels.

            likely made btwn 87-89. it's not an 86 or it would have a Kahler route, and that is a JT-6 trem route. great guitar, extremely well made.

              Yeah, a 3a. I have a black one. Did it come with any electronics? Those pickup rings are hard to come by. They are bigger because of the covered jackson pickups that came with it. You can get a custon set from our very own Budman if you cant locate used ones.

                All the parts are there. The previous owner was going to refinish it and never got around to it. I didn't figure it was too bad for less than $100 even if I do need to put it back together.

                            3A is H/H and the pickguards only came on the 86 Model 3A so you're both correct-
