here's a quick pic of my spectrum



was the spectrum a predominantly a maple boarded model or was it 50/50 maple/rosewood (as a spectrum i had several years ago was a maple boarded one). also i've seen a couple with hss configuration was this also an option or have the humbuckers on some spectrums been added later (as i've only seen the sss ones in the jackson/charvel literature). and if so at what point??

well, MOST of the ones i've seen have been with maple boards, but as to what the actual ratio was, i have no clue. sure seems like more made it out with maple boards though.

I think all Spectrums were S/S/S. So if you saw one with a humbucker, I'm guessing it was routed that way aftermarket.
