Okay, this is getting out of hand....

The pawnshops here in Austin are flinging these Model Series guitars at me as fast as I can buy them. Seems every other time I go in one, there is a Model something hanging on the rack, and I just can't leave it there. Today I went in to pay on a Model 6, and there was a very nice 1986 red Model 4 on the wall. Got it for $160. I am literally running out of places to put these axes. My wife is starting to make comments. Some of you Austin guys, please get out there and start buying these things so I don't have to. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Budman...the 2 guitars I was talking about are still on layaway in the pawnshop. So...no pics yet. [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

jtr...you know, I think part of the reason I don't pass them up is because I know people here would probably want them if I can make myself sell. But I have a bit of a problem letting anything go. [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

But here's my little group shot again. Most of these are pawnshop finds here in Austin.

Thanks man. I will definitely give people here first crack at anything I end up selling. I just looked at the pic again...all but 3 of those came from pawnshops. One came from Greg Crowe.

Actually Mark, there are 2 Model 88's in that pic. It's just that on one of them the headstock was broken, and I replaced it with one from a 275. I paid too much for both of them. Those didn't come from pawnshops. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]

Model 2 w/ added control? At first the body looked too "square edged" like the later Charvel toothpastes, but I guess not now that I really look at it.
