• Charvel Spectrum

Hi!
I wonder if anyone can help me with some information about the Charvel Spectrum ?
What type of wood is used on body, neck and fretboard..? etc....
Is it a quality guitar ?
My model has three single coil sized Jackson pickups. I really want to exchange them. Is it worth to make room for a humbucker in the bridge? Or just go with the original ?
Would really appriciate any advice/recomendations about pickups change and any information regarding this guitar model.
Thank you!!!

Re: Charvel Spectrum

body is probably alder, neck is maple with either a maple board or rosewood. i took the bridge pickup out and put in a duncan hot rails ( i had to modify the pickup a bit so that it would fit the cavity rout)in mine, and it works nicely.

i really enjoy mine, personally, and i really like the neck on it. they're not worth a ton, sadly, but imo, it's an underrated guitar.
