Ok, I have a Model 2 and changed strings today. The nut i'm assuming is a Kahler. Now, after getting it back together, I noticed that the the B and E strings are sitting funny in the nut. The B string is damn near to the lock down screw and the E looks like it's all the way against the far inside edge of the nut opening and could be rubbing. It also looks like after locking that end of the nut, the string might have gotten to the outside of the locking pad. Is this supposed to be like this? I didn't notice any grooves inside the nut openings for the strings to ride in. It almost appears that I have to tune the B & E strings backwards on the tuners. What is the deal?
