• The h3ll does "Dinky" mean?

OK, seriously - I've searched this forum, and I know how to use Google, but what the hell does dinky mean?

Sorry to ask. Some things you should be able to find out on your own...

Dinky is in reference to the size of the body in relation to a full size strat. The dinky (and Soloist) body is 7/8 the size of a strat.

You mean 7/8 size like a certain Firecrackle 3DR?

          You're welcome.

          Absolutely Dana!!!

Actually the 3DR is the first Dinky-bodied Charvel. All the other models except for the 5, 6 and 7 were Strat sized bodies. (the model 5s and 6s were neck-thrus therefore classifying them actually as Soloist bodies and the model 7 is a telecaster body.) After 88 Charvel went to the dinky body style on all of their production offset double cutaway models.

And I can't wait to get my hands on that certain 3DR!!!
