Wasn't the Model 8 a neck thru version of the model 7?Just a thought. I have heard refferance to it but have never really seen one. so it's just an educated guess.

There wasn't a Model 8, was there? There was a Model 88...

Later on the 850xl was a bass, but during the Model years, that was called the Model 3B, if I recall.

Actually the model 8 does exist. It is basically what came to be the Spectrum. I sent an e-mail to Kevin E. and he filled me in on the info.

Coincidentally, one was actually found on e-bay.

So then that was a legit guitar. We had a huge discussion on that guitar and nobody knew if it was just a spectrum with a replacement decal and pickguard.

Well Looks like I have another guitar to add to the list of Model's I need to get for the full line up.

Any more info on it? I'd guess it came out late in the 88 model year.
