Actually there was no Ned Beatty model. It was a Hoyt Pollard model. He was the kid who played the banjo. (lookup from IMDB.com) Did Ned play the banjo? I don't remember it's been a long time since I've seen the movie. All I know is that Ned's character gets it in the end. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
