Actually, if you look closely at the classic Savatage Charvel ad, you can just make out a Charbanjo laying against the wall to one side. Only in the landscape version of the ad though, it's cropped out of the standard portrait layout, as used by most of the guitar magsHail yesterday

That is actually Criss Oliva's "mutt" Charbanjo. It's a Model 101 body with the Bixby-licensed non-trem BanJ-Lo tailpiece (wider than the standard), with a 102M neck - KDM (Korean Dark Maple) board with MOP (Mother of Plastic) dot inlays.

Actually, it's an imposter 101. Note the position of the 12th fret dots. Likely a fake. Not to mention, the Charbanjo had chrome hardware. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]"Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
