Replacement options for a Kahler Fulcrum from an old Charvel?

I have an '86 Model 3A guitar with a Fulcrum tremolo. It's really hinky and temperamental, though. What options do I have to swap it out? What would I be able to throw right in there that would perform better? I am using it with a tremelno, as well.

I don't know if there is a Kahler locking trem that will drop in there. You would have to plug the post holes and redrill them for the proper spacing, then a real Floyd will work.

The 2710 "Killer" is a double-locking drop-in replacement for the Fulcrum. They pop up once in a while on eBay, and there was recently an '86 Model 2 or 3 listed that had one installed. Strange looking trems, but supposedly they work really well.

Yes, I put one on my model 3 mutt and it works great. It drops right in, no mods at all. Just send the strings through the back and tighten the knobs on the ends and it locks the strings in. I got mine off ebay for $25 but I think that was a deal.

I've got one on my Model 2. It works great and the guitar stays in tune. Also, this trem is made of stainless steel, just like an Original Floyd Rose.

I have one as well. That is one hard-ass chunk of metal, heavy too. Also, you can adjust each saddle infinitely, for different radii fretboards. Very cool trem, but I'm not a heavy trem using kinda guy, so take it for what it's worth.
