Strat headed replacement neck ?

So im considering turning my model 2 into an all out well just plain project guitar.

Is there a bold on strat like headstock that I could swap into my model 2 ?

Or would such a thing have to be ordered from warmoth ?

BOLT on necks are easily attainable for a Charvel Model 2. I used to have a BOLD on neck, but it warped and I had to throw it in the shredder. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] You'll need to make sure the neck is a 22 fret 25 1/2 inch scale length for a proper fit. Also, I believe the heel width is 2 3/16 inches at the pocket, others would know more than this info...

According to the dimensions that Warmoth gives, it's an exact match. I've thought about it before myself, but I never went through with it.
Those specs are made to match a Fender, so you could conceivably use a Fender neck too. I've also tried the neck from a '70s Ibanez Blazer and it fit - but it only had 21 frets and it looked silly. Basically, the bottom line is that the Model series uses the "standard" Fender neck dimensions, as do many other guitars out there.

Also - Warmoth would be a good choice because they use a compund radius fretboard.

I am really tempted by that warmoth neck w/ ibeenhad neck profile. Sounds like a sweet match for a model 1 body. I could get it scalloped and have my dream beat arround guitar. [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] For less that 250 bucks assuming I can find someone to trade me a model 1 body for some of my crap. (I have pickups, a behringer V amp, etc.)

No I had not, but thank you for showing me [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] very cool guitar, infact exactly what I would be looking for but I want a maple fretboard and im not really a fan of red guitars.
