simple question: after I opened the plate that covers the electrical part of my model 6, I discovered the black wire that goes from the battery to ????? was loose. where does that one belong?
It should be connected to the middle terminal of the jack - so that it's only "on" when it's plugged in. Technically, it's a ground (earth) wire, but again, only actually working when plugged in, which is why it has a 3 terminal (stereo) jack.
