This is how she looked when I got her:
The previous owner routed for a neck hum and added a 3-way toggle.
This is how she looks so far:
I filled in the neck route and the original volume route with bondo. I kept the toggle location because that's just what I prefer - out of my way. My bro-in-law paints bikes so I had him spray her a nice, bright yellow. I won a maple/maple neck from ebay - I know it's not "THE" strathead, but I like it anyway. It has a nice, thick maple board - almost as thick as the slab on my Ontario Jackson.
My girls wanted to put stickers on her, so we found the Marvin stickers on ebay. What do you guys/ladies think? That is an EMG 81 in there.
