New guy here, didn't know there were so many Charvel fans out there, glad there are
I'm rebuilding my model 4. Unfortunately I did not keep all the parts in order so I've had to replace some of them including the electronics. It still feels like a Charvel in my hands which to me one of the best feeling guitars there is, so well balanced and dense and resonant.
anyway, I've found an aftermarket mid boost push/pull pot and pickups that I really like, the only problem is I can't find any wiring diagrams that show how the 4's and 6's were originally wired. I remember how versatile the wiring was back when I played it in the 80's and how many great sounds I could get, but damned if I can figure out how to wire it up the same way now.
where can one score these diagrams? they seem to be nowhere.
can anyone help?
