Does anybody know where I can look up made in japan charvel serial numbers? i would like to find out more information on my guitar. thanks

There isn't a way to tell model from the serial number. (that I know of at least) What are the details of your guitar? We can tell you what you've got.Occupy JCF -

The only thing the serial number will do is get you in the ballpark on what year it is.
1986: SN 222,000- ~240,000
1987: SN ~244,000- ~299,000
1988: SN ~299,000- ~315,000
1989: SN ~315,000- ~330,000
1990: SN ~330,000- ~335,000
1991: SN ~335,000-
I haven't updated these numbers in a while but like I said it will get you in the ballpark.Comment

He needs to know that they, *the employees*, picked the plates up in stacks that made it a random order. Sometimes plates got stashed into places and were used on later guitars.Comment
