  • Help me identify my Charvel!!

I bought this a few years ago at a pretty low-key guitar shop; didn't pay that much for it. I could never find any information on it!

    Bolt on neck, rosewood fretboard
    Serial number is 325775

    5-way switch H-S-S
Jackson Tuning machines and Jackson Pickups

Also, could you guys give me some info on the tremelo? Are there any upgrade/replacement Floyd-Rose bridges I could get?

That is a Charvel 375, made in Japan 1989-1991. Finish was called Desert Crackle, IIRC. That trem is a good one, no need to replace it in my opinion...it's a JT-590 by Schaller.

You might want to change the strings though. I can see a few ball ends crushed in the blocks of the trem on the wound strings.

Yeah, I just took the whole thing apart and cleaned her up. There was gunk everywhere; it was pretty raunchy. It's been almost half a year since I've last touched this thing.

              She's much cleaner now

Is there any way of taking those trem blocks out to get any gunk or crushed ball ends out?

Please cut the ball ends off don't ruin a great trem. The blocks should fall out but when people don't cut them off it really booger the blocks up.Just soak them in WD-40 overnight and with a little prying with a very small screwdriver they should come out.
                Really? well screw Mark Twain.
