Was the Star an import production model at any time? Did they give it a Model #?

I believe the answer is Yes, the KSXT. However I don't have details on it because it was from the last batch of files Kevin did on the old Jackson site. They were in flash, and they didn't transfer over. (if anyone can provide the specs I'd be grateful)

I'm sorry, you're speaking of the standard star shape, not the Kelly star aren't you? From the MoAIP files, the answer is no.

There used to be a Musician's Friend page that would come up if you searched Yahoo for 'Charvel' - it took a good long while to get to that page, but once there it showed a black Star with a Strathead and rosewood board for like $500. These were production models for a very short while from what I gather, though no one has ever been able to nail down a definite timeframe.
I think I saved that page to my other computer, can't recall. If I ever run across it, I'll post it. I know I posted it on the old board, but I had over 9000 posts before we moved to UBB, so searching that would be a nightmare [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Also something's happened to the old board. (I think) Sully was searching it the other day and the posts are gone.

I had thought those Stars with the wide dots were made for Guitar Center only???
