I don't think I've ever seen a Charvel like that blue one. Some variation on the Model 1?

I just added the white Model 1 (which replaced the red one I had).

The Model 1C is showroom mint, I found it in a pawn shop in Dallas.

Model 4 is very clean as well, I've had it since around '89 and it's spent most of it's life in the case. I discovered about 2 years ago that I really like it.

My main guitar is my '87 Hamer Chapparal, well loved but never abused.

I've already emailed him a pic of that as well as a Model 4M (same Dark Red Metallic color too).

I've seen 4 of these Model 1C's counting TX's blue one above - only seen 2 in person. I bought one of them brand new around '87, when I was 14, my first Charvel. Someone else on this board owns a white one, if they still have it. Can't remember who.

Evolver, sweet 1C. I remember that pic from when I first picked up by blue one and ID'd it here on the board. They are pretty rare from what I understand. I'm pretty up on my Model Series Guitars and I had no idea what it was when I bought it, just new it was rare.

mm2002 - yeh, I know the knobs kinda suck. Way back in the day, I needed a knob for my Hamer and I robbed one from it. Another buddy of mine had a Gibson Invader and for fun stuck his knobs on my guitar to make it complete. That was around '90?

Would anyone care to trade some pristine metal knobs for some pristine plastic speed knobs?...LOL

tx - I like your Blue too...wish mine was as "minty fresh" as yours. It's got some scratches, and you can tell the white "Jackson" lettering is wearing off the pickups. I've played it a LOT [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Yeah, I got 'em. They're in my e-mail. I'm still working to clear them out... I'll get to it this weekend... (I'm working out my to-do list right now)
