My Charvel CX 291 has a strat head

Is this a rareity? Not that bothered really as this guitar is gonna become a Jake E Lee Whitey, just thought i'd ask as the other ones I have seen have the "different" shaped headstock.

Very cool! Probably a Japan-only model with that headstock. BTW, you may want to edit your post due to the policy here about selling prior to getting access to the classifieds.

Most if not all of the CX series had a strathead available in markets other than the US, I've seen a few stratheads around here over the years. I grabbed this one because it's a Charvel with a strathead, and it's the most Strat like guitar I own. Have yet to upgarde the pickups to something useable with distortion, but these are ok on clean settings.

those strathead CX's are nice.

that's about the perfect combo of strat, dinky and charvel.

could lose the Charvel logo pup covers though, that's a bit much.

I'd just take those off.

Whats a fair price for one?I found a 291 with A beak type headstock.Really nice shape too.
