Re: SCORE! 750XL is a blast!

Thanks for the reply. I just got one and the pickups are missed matched. I opened the cavity and there was no 9V in it, so I thought there might have been one at one time. It is going to need some love. The neck is straight, but dirty and there is some nasty paint chips on the body. The point of the head has some of the binding that is missing also. Only the 1,3 and 5 position on the 5 way works. With that said, I paid under $300 for it and I view it as a Diamond in the rough. I would post a pic, but I bought the wife a dig. camera for x-mas so I have to wait. If any one scuba dives and finds a dig camera in the bottom of Lake Washington, you can keep it! Safe boating is no accident .........

Sorry for the "All about me" story on this thread. RR_ 1525, that is a very sweet 750xl you have. Enjoy your x mass came early guitar!

Moniteraly, probably. Playability, not really. I define the value of a guitar ashow well it feels in my hands. I only had 850.00 in the jem and decided to get rid of it when I realized how much I disliked the neck and the thing just had no mojo for me. I was happy to trade it for the 750xl. It feels like a natural extention of me. Almost as good as my RR.
