Here's a pic of my mod 5. I put in a yellow Duncan custom and 59. I bought these NOS yellow pickup rings from a Kramer EE Pro, but like i thought, they didn't fit.. so i didn't get to put those on also.. oh well... well here she is.

I've got the same pickup combination on my soloist (although both are black).
I'm on the lookout for a Model 5 myself...Until you get weaned off the boobie, you are going to have to do what the wife wants too. -Rsmacker -
Freakin awesome guitar! (I had a white Model 5 back in the 80's with active pickups.) I don't know about the yellow, though.

I like it. I'm starting to like bright, dayglo colors on guitars. I'm gettting a little burned out on all the too perfect flamed and quilted tops. Too bad the rings didn't fit. Maybe some funky green rings would look cool!
